What is the main role of KANGO?

Support NGOs by disseminating information and providing capacity building to members such as help members on their project proposal.

Who responsible for the project proposal?

Each organization is responsible to write their own project proposal and KANGO review their final draft, make comments and return it back to members if necessary to rewrite it before it given to the donor.

Who approved the project proposal?

Donors approved their own funding.

KANGO provide the funding?

No, KANGO is a communication channel between Donors and NGO members.

Can the project proposal from NGOs member given directly to donors without going through KANGO?

Yes, but it would be good to review by KANGO expertise on project proposal for a better chance of approval.

How much money allocated for each member?

KANGO is core funded by NZAID to operate its main activities and there is no money allocated for each member organization.

What is the purpose of $100 Annual Fee?

It a local contribution to KANGO activities and it also a real indicator of real, active and sustainable organization.
