About KANGO
KANGO is the umbrella organisation
for all NGO’s in Kiribati. It was established in 1986. We are
a community based membership organisation, run by our Members
for our Members on a not for profit basis. Currently 52
Kiribati NGOs are members of KANGO. (NGO) A Non-Governmental
Organisation can be defined as an independent, voluntary
association of people acting together on a continuous basis,
for some common purpose, other than achieving government
office, making money or illegal activities.KANGO is looking
forward to work closely with local NGOs, the Government of
Kiribati, local, regional and international Donors and
regional affiliates.
